Xplor App

Stay up to date with
our learning stories

Utilising the Xplor App, Stay up to date with everything Tiny Tiger.

We have implemented a new childcare management system called Xplor that offers an app called HOME for parents.

This new system would allow the Tiny Tiger Educators to share more information with you on your child’s day and to do so with greater immediacy.

All parents would have received an email invitation to create an account with HOME.

If you have any questions, please speak to the staff in the Centre Office and we would be happy to help.

Please take a look at this video that provides you with all the information you need to know on how to create an account with HOME and download the app to your mobile devices.

What is the childcare subsidy?

The Child Care Subsidy is provides higher levels of financial support to the families who earn the least, in order to make the process of returning to work less financially difficult. More importantly, this initiative gives your child an opportunity to take advantage of the benefits of an early childhood education. Family life is busy – in between juggling work and family life, there’s not a lot of time left to catch up on legislative changes, so we’ve outlined them for you.

The system is income and ‘activity-based’, giving families access to either 36, 72 or 100 hours of subsidised care per fortnight, based on the hours of combined work, training or study undertaken.

How much will I get back?

Your CCS is calculated using three components:

  • Your combined family income
  • Your level of ‘activity’
  • Your childcare provider’s hourly rate

The amount of subsidy you receive depends on your circumstances.
