My Inspiration:

I am inspired to be the best educator, to grow and learn alongside the children everyday, while nurturing, caring and assisting each and every child in my care. I also aspire to be the best version I can be of myself each and everyday.

My Interests:

My interests are camping, particularly beach camping, where I can relax alongside my partner and family.

I also love beach days and day adventures, I also have a great interest in makeup!

What is one of your hidden talents?

I like to think I’m fairly good at makeup, often getting family and friends asking me to do their makeup for events!

What is your favourite (child appropriate) joke?

Why did the chicken cross the road … to get to the other side!

When you were 4 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was four I always wanted to be a teacher, everyday I would force my sister to role play with me where I was a school teacher and they were my students. 🤣

Statement of Philosophy

I have such a passion for my job, and I believe as an Educator it is my job to provide the best quality care possible and ensure that each child in my care feels safe, secure, and supported while also building strong, meaningful, and reciprocal relationship with each individual child as well as their families.

I believe in cultural diversity. I will celebrate the benefits of diversity with each individual child and enable them to understand and acknowledge differences.

I believe that each child is an individual and as an Educator, I will develop each child’s strengths, interests, skills, abilities, and knowledge and extend on their learning through providing learning experiences in both indoor and outdoor environments that spark the children’s interests while also allowing them to further their learning and development.

I believe children learn through play. I will provide opportunities for children to explore, discover, create, and imagine.

I believe that each child is different and unique.
