My Inspiration:
I have always enjoyed looking after children. I followed my passion and worked with children straight out of high school. I still love interacting with children but now have the pleasure to ensure that they are eating healthy, nutritious meals for their growing bodies.
My Interests:
Interacting with children, making healthy meals, trying new things, bringing people together through food, physical activities and a musical environment.
When you were 4 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a vet because I love taking care of animals.
What is your spirit animal and why?
Scorpio’s spirit animal is a phoenix, like the animal my personality is two-fold. I have a tough outer personality that is used to protect myself from danger or heartbreak, but underneath there’s a softer, gentler side that is open and vulnerable.
Statement of Philosophy
I believe in creating an environment supportive of an ongoing culture of sustainability, connectedness, and inclusion; embracing the mind, body and spirit of every child in developing a positive sense of self, community, and wonder.
I strongly believe that nutritious food has a positive effect on our children’s physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
I believe children are unique individuals who grow and develop at their own pace with their own strengths, needs and interests.
