• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• First Aid and CPR
• First Aid Management of Asthma and Anaphylaxis

My Inspiration:

My family is my inspiration – I’m the oldest in my family and so always had the pleasure of babysitting all my siblings and cousins.

My Interests:

Sports – mainly AFL and Netball. Reading. Camping – love my camping!

Statement of Philosophy

I believe that as an Early Childhood Educator, I am responsible for providing all children in my care a positive learning experience. I strive to model respect, patience and the best care for children and adults that enter through the centre door.

I believe that every child is an individual and as an Educator I will strive to help develop each child’s strengths, interests, skills, and knowledge to extend their learning. It is my belief that every child learns best through play, I will provide every child that opportunity to explore, discover and create new strengths and skills through play.

Every child needs the assurance of being loved and cared for, while they are enjoying an educational environment. Teaching children is my passion and providing those children with the best education is my goal. Ensuring that each and every child has the feeling of safety and has the trust with educators is very important.

I believe in cultural diversity and every child, and their family is different and celebrate holidays differently. I will strive to assist the children to enable them the benefits of diversity and help them with understanding that differences exist.
